HK - PROJECTOR |

|---|---|---|---|---|

One of the great advantages of the self-powered design concept is particularly evident when the bin cranks out low-end frequencies, which have a notoriously healthy appetite for power: the short distance between the power amp and loudspeaker precludes the usual, often considerable, leakage of power due to lengthy, "lossy" signal chains. Without wasting any energy, every watt is actually translated into sound! |

Furthermore, the system very nearly obsoletes outboard equalizers. All they're needed for is to iron out some of the sonic kinks of the venue. In addition, reverb and room simulation sound more realistic, and the EQ controls on the separate mixer channels can be used more precisely and effectively. For smaller audiences, the Projector top can be set to Medium-Throw to provide optimum coverage of the near and medium fields. When the switch is set to the Long-Throw position, the full frequency spectrum is transported to every nook and cranny of a large festival tent. Need to fly? |

Powerful system for large venues All-horn-loaded system easily projects 50 meters at high SPL System configuration consists of four 18" subwoofers with two 12"/2" full-range enclosures (can be flown) Three-way active design with 600-watt RMS power amps in each enclosure Integral controller with limiter, active crossover, and system EQ in each amp DynaClip circuitry delivers more useable power in the low-end Three-color LED for visually monitoring the status of the limiter Selector switch for medium or long-throw use of the upper enclosure Balanced XLR inputs and outputs Powercon® mains supply socket with safety lock Ground-lift switch helps avoid AC-cycle hum. Upper enclosures and bass bins both come standard with rugged ball-bearing casters for easy transport. |
