CP 2000

Manufacturer's Specification:

The new CP2000 Power Amplifier is designed to deliver high output power with efficient operation. Maximum power output is 2000 watts into a 4 ohm load (bridged). 1000 watts per channel is available at 2 ohms. 4 ohm operation yields 650 watts per channel, and 450 watts per channel at 8 ohms. EEEngine technology, a Yamaha exclusive, allows the CP2000 to deliver high output while keeping power consumption to a minimum for cool, efficient operation.

Another Yamaha exclusive, YSP (Yamaha Speaker Processing) was incorporated to enhance performance when used with Yamaha's Club Series loudspeakers. When used with either the S112IV or the S115IV, enhanced bass response and smooth high frequency can be achieved.

High Power Output

The CP2000 delivers a maximum Circuitry designed to enhance the 2000-watts of clean power into a 4-ohm load when bridged. In a stereo configuration it delivers 1000-watts of power into 2-ohms, 650-watts into 4-ohm loads or 450-watts into 8-ohm loads.

EEEngine Technology

Yamaha's exclusive EEEngine The unit is also equipped with technology, combined with a MOSFET amplifier allows the CP2000 to deliver high performance along with exceptional efficiency. At idle, power consumption is kept to a mere 30W while under normal use the unit draws 350W.

Yamaha Speaker Processing

Circuitry designed to enhance the audio performance when the CP2000 is used with the popular S112IV and S115IV Yamaha loudspeakers. A rear mounted switch activates this circuit.
